Ricardo Sánchez de la Vega Galindo holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2010). He has 15 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors (2007–2023). He has participated in the development of more than 50 hydraulic projects in different areas, including their design, construction, and supervision.

He currently works as a lecturer teaching Fundamentals of Hydraulics and Hydrology, while also developing infrastructure projects independently.
