Dr. Leonardo Valdivia is a research professor with extensive experience in the development of technological innovation projects and academia–industry collaboration. He has actively contributed to the creation and consolidation of research centers, as well as to the coordination of graduate programs, strengthening the development of high-level human capital.
His work focuses on the design and development of electronic devices applied to healthcare and environmental monitoring, integrating embedded systems, sensing technologies, and energy harvesting techniques. He has led research initiatives with international collaboration.
In addition to his academic work, he has entrepreneurial experience in the development of technological solutions for industry, particularly in measurement and automation systems. His profile combines applied research, technology transfer, and strategic vision to generate projects with high scientific and social impact.
Research areas: Internet of Things, Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Sensors, Embedded Systems.
