Julián Ochoa-García, Ph.D.

Ph.D. in Information Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (awarded Sobresaliente Cum Laude) and a Master’s degree in Education from Universidad Panamericana. He serves as Professor-Researcher at the School of Education and Psychology at Universidad Panamericana, Campus Guadalajara, where he integrates teaching with the development and supervision of academic research projects in education and information science.

His teaching focuses on strengthening research competencies, academic writing and oral argumentation, as well as institutional evaluation and educational quality. His research interests include information literacy, technology-mediated education, and scientific research competencies.

He specializes in the impact of artificial intelligence on higher education and professional practice. He has led the project “Artificial Intelligence Literacy in University Faculty,” designing instruments to assess digital competencies. He has published in international peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the international scholarly network Infotecarios.
