Josué Daniel Sánchez Tapetillo

He is a civil engineer from the University of Guadalajara and has completed studies toward a Master’s degree in Integrated Water Resources Management at the Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA). Since 2004 he has been General Director of PHHS Ingeniería, S.A. de C.V., a firm that provides consulting services in urban hydraulic engineering, hydrology, and sanitation.

He taught General Hydraulics at the University of Guadalajara and Water Conveyance and Drainage Networks at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Tecnológico de Monterrey), Guadalajara Campus. He has been a member of the Jalisco State Association of Civil Engineers (Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles del Estado de Jalisco, A.C.) since 2004, the Mexican Hydraulics Association (Asociación Mexicana de Hidráulica, A.C.) since 2009, and the Mexican Watershed Network (Red Mexicana de Cuencas) since 2018.

A former member of the Metropolitan Citizens’ Council (2020–2022), he promoted the creation of the Metropolitan Roundtable on Integrated Water Management and has advocated for legislative reforms on water issues.
