Dr. Pía Berger

Dr. Pia Berger is a Research Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad Panamericana (UP), Campus Aguascalientes, Mexico. She holds a Ph.D. in Science from the Institute of Geophysics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master’s degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Würzburg, Germany.
She has conducted research at leading institutions in France, Italy, Germany, Australia, the United States, and Mexico. In addition, she has professional experience in Germany as a consultant specializing in environmental remediation, and energy technologies.
Since 2014, Dr. Berger has served as a research professor at UP, where she teaches in energy and sustainability. Her research focuses on Sustainable Development, with contributions spanning Biomaterials, and Circular Economy. She coordinates the International Master’s Degree in Circular Economy (IMAT).
Dr. Berger has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and is the holder of a patent in biomaterials (File: MX/a/2021/012262).
