Daniela Salgado Gutiérrez, Ph. D.
Director of Research Campus Guadalajara & Vicepresident Of Hidroadaptive Cities Center
She studied Pedagogy at the Universidad Panamericana, and has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family from Universidad de Navarra, where she also obtained her doctorate in education in 2018.
In 2012, she joined Universidad Panamericana as a research professor, where she served as director of the undergraduate programs in Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy for five years. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2024, she held the position of Dean of the School of Pedagogy and Psychology. During this time, she led the design and implementation of the Psychology program and other postgraduate programs.
She is currently a partner in the Footprints research project, on the beliefs, ideals and expectations of young people, led by the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome, along with 8 other partner countries.
From the end of 2024 she was appointed Director of Research at the Guadalajara Campus, from where she leads the implementation of the institutional research strategy.
Research areas: Educational Theory and Philosophy and applied research in moral education, character education and citizenship education; family pedagogy and educational leadership
